With 3.6 million sales of basketball these companies have earned as much as $60 million in the US alone. With all of these numbers it’s safe to say that basketball is one the well-loved, if the not the most, sports in the United States, and undoubtedly in the world. Basketball is such an easy sports to learn, anybody can play the game thus anybody can feel free to build a basketball goal in their own lots at home or in their villages or parks.

The Boston Celtics defeated the Miami Heat 101-91 at home in Game 3 on Thursday. While Miami has a 2-1 lead in the series, the Celtics can even up the series with another win at the TD Garden on Sunday. Tip-off for Game 4 is scheduled for 8:30 EST and will be broadcasted nationally on ESPN. The Celtics were up by as much as 24-points in the 4th quarter. The Houston Rockets have only 2 NBA titles, both occurring in the 90s, despite fielding relatively powerful teams in the 70s and 80s with Calvin Murphy, Moses Malone, Nike Newlin and Rudy Tomjanovich. The Rockets were also able to add in Rick Barry late in the 1979 campaign and fielded a deep lineup which included the likes of Tom Henderson, mike Dunleavy, Major Jones and Bill Wiloughby. They incredibly made the NBA Finals in the 1980-81 season, despite finishing with a losing record of 40-42 and the sixth seed in the playoffs. The Rockets beat the Los Angeles Lakers, San Antonio Spurs and Kansas City Kings in transit to a clash against the Celtics. They lost 4 games to two though, regardless of winning game 2 on the road.
